Making the Future
Ever wonder how we are able to keep some of our prototypes a secret? It’s not always easy; sometimes it involves a lot of trust in the manufacturer, and sometimes it involves keeping some of the products in-house until we are able to patent the product.
But, building prototypes in-house can be tricky. Especially when the product requires a part that can’t be found at a local hardware store. So, what do we do when this happens? We turn to our trusty 3D printer!
3D printers have come a long way since they were first brought to the market. People have been able to successfully replicate a range of products from tools and small appliances to clothes, to musical instruments and camera lenses. By using our internal 3D printer, we are able to simply print the part or a model of what we need. Thus, streamlining the production of certain prototypes, minimizing the possibility of copycat products, and keeping our designs in-house.
It’s technology like this that make what we do possible and makes us excited for what’s to come!
